But wait—There’s more!

I’ve always had a love for people and homes. Real estate is the perfect blend of these passions, so it was a natural career choice for me!

I first embarked on my real estate career as a broke 23-year-old newlywed that was living on love with a husband that worked retail. Statistically only 1 in 10 Realtors “make it” and probably less than that at the age that I started. However, my drive and determination could not be stopped. I hosted all the open houses I could find, I did whatever I could to market to anyone I met. I worked with other agents in my office, provided favors as often as I could, and was eager for continued hands-on learning experiences. Just a few months after I was licensed, I completed my first closing. From then on, I was hooked. Whether it’s the rush from getting the accepted offer, to handing my clients the keys to their new home, I find it all intoxicating and I simply can’t imagine doing anything else with my life!

For the past 15 years I’ve diligently worked to serve Portland Metro area buyers and sellers. It doesn’t matter if I’m working with a seasoned home owner or a first time home buyer, I strive to make each client feel as if they are my only client.

My core business values:

Responsiveness: I try to respond to questions as quickly as possible. I absolutely know what it’s like to have a burning question for a professional and not get a response in a timely manner. (It’s maddening!) Accountability: I treat each transaction as if it were my own personal home. I’m anxious while I wait with a buyer to hear if an offer was accepted, and I pour the champagne when my sellers get multiple offers over asking price. I walk through the process with each buyer, I feel all the feels and at times, that can make my job hard, but in the end, that’s what makes me so good at it. Enthusiasm: This is a key ingredient to any successful career and my enthusiasm makes other agents excited to work with me. In the past, I’ve had buyer offers accepted because of my positive reputation with the listing agent. Transparency: I’ll always be upfront, listen to your worries, and do my best to calm your nerves. You can count on me to be your trusted advisor. I’ll call out issues that I see and never let a commission or paycheck cloud my vision in a transaction. I operate in a highly ethical manner and believe that what goes around comes around.

Let’s get personal…

I’ve been married for 16 years to my husband Brett and have two amazing kids, Emersyn {10} and Everett {7}. I fully plan on being a mother/daughter real estate team someday, as my daughter is a master negotiator {oftentimes much to my dismay}. When I’m not working, I enjoy drinking La Croix (my favorite naturally essenced sparkling beverage), working on the never-ending remodel at my home, NOT watching House Hunters because it drives me crazy with its watered down portrayal of my industry (if I hear “open concept” one more time…), watching Fixer Upper, because Joanna Gaines is my hair idol (and shiplap…so much shiplap!), hanging out with friends and family, and enjoying all the beauty that the Pacific Northwest has to offer!

I’d also like you to meet:

Angie Paulson, Marketing and Transaction Coordinator

As my career has grown over the past several years, I knew I needed to find a like-minded individual to assist me in my business and help it continue to succeed. Angie has had an extensive career in real estate related administration roles as well as other administrative support roles. She is perfectly suited for the real estate industry with her bright and enthusiastic personality, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency. Angie is currently unlicensed but working on getting her license so that she can further assist my clients as needed when I am out of town.
